The Western Pennsylvania School for Blind Children follows what is called an integrated service delivery model for related services. Each student works with a team, composed of teachers and therapists, dedicated to creating an educational and therapeutic program specifically for that individual. Related services, such as occupational, physical and communication therapy, as well as orientation and mobility, are provided in such natural settings as the classroom or the community. Team members assist each other to reinforce the student's therapeutic and instructional program.
