Welcome to the Western Pennsylvania School for Blind Children's (WPSBC) website! We invite you to learn more about our one-of-a-kind organization and the special students we are privileged to serve.
Since our founding in 1887, WPSBC has provided exceptional educational opportunities to students who face overwhelming obstacles due to sensory loss. Our programming has evolved over the generations in order to meet the community’s needs. Today, more than 170 students attend our on-campus program which is designed for students with visual impairment coupled with other serious physical and cognitive disabilities.
In addition, WPSBC offers vital Outreach services and programs to babies, toddlers and school-age students with visual impairments currently attending their local schools.
Thanks for visiting and don't hestitate to contact us at 412-621-0100 if you would like more information.
