CVI CLINICThe Western Pennsylvania School for Blind Children is pleased to partner with families, school districts, Intermediate Units, and agencies to support positive student outcomes. The purpose of the CVI clinic is to provide educational recommendations based on results of a functional vision assessment. The student's entire educational team is welcome to attend on the day of the assessment. We are delighted to partner with you!
Appointments will be scheduled at 8:30 am, 10:30 am and 1:00 pm. Typically, we are able to evaluate 3 children during each scheduled clinic day. This assessment will be completed by a Roman/Perkins Endorsed evaluator.

Prior to the evaluation, we request the following information be sent:
- Medical history
- Ophthalmological report
- Current re-evaluation report
- Most recent IEP
- Most recent functional vision evaluation
- Birth history
