New School Based Mental Health Program

We are excited to share with you the launch of WPSBC's School Based Mental Health Program! Together with The Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh, we will be providing onsitmental health counseling, medication management and parent psychoeducation.

The members of the Children’s Institute are dedicated to collaborating with each students' educational team and caregivers to ensure the ability to provide a high-quality service to address the unique needs of our students. The Children’s Institute flyer (included below) gives some more detail on their program that they are bringing to our school.

We are honored to be able to provide these valuable services on our campus and take pride in continuing to grow and develop in the area of mental health for individuals with special needs.

If you have questions, please feel free to contact a member of your educational team, Samantha Kostelnik at ext. 294 or Lyndsey Gianella at ext. 224.
