A Child's VIEW Inclusive Childcare

A Child's VIEW: Vision in Extraordinary Ways Early Childhood Center is located on the Oakland campus of the Western Pennsylvania School for Blind Children and provides comprehensive blended childcare for children with or without visual impairments from the ages of six weeks to five years. This innovative program is designed to benefit all children, regardless of their ability level or sensory impairments.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, A Child's VIEW is currently only accepting children of WPSBC staff members.

Accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, A Child's VIEW is a high quality, innovative and comprehensive childcare program. Through a blended model, all children can learn alongside each other, learning about empathy, respect and diversity.

All children within the classroom are given opportunities to build cognitive, language and social skills. Each day we strive to meet the needs of each child and work with parents to maintain a partnership that helps every student reach his or her full potential.
