Dear WPSBC Community,
We learned of one confirmed positive case of COVID-19 in our WPSBC community, in addition to the four cases communicated in yesterday’s letter.
Based on guidance this morning from the Department of Human Services, A Child’s View childcare center will remain closed for two weeks. Additionally, the Chief Epidemiologist and the Deputy Director at the Allegheny County Health Department (ACHD) advised this morning that the School be closed for the remainder of the week. Remote learning will take place through this week, with the hope of returning on Monday, May 3rd.
We continue to seek guidance from the ACHD in navigating each case as we have since the beginning of the pandemic. The health and safety of our community remain our number one priority.
We will continue to keep you updated on any COVID-19 communications. As we enter the final month of the 2020-2021 school year, please continue to follow all health and safety protocols and stay home if you are exhibiting any symptoms, even mild.
