February is Black History Month, an annual celebration of achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing their role in U.S. history. WPSBC is celebrating through classroom lessons, activities, and a series of musical, dance, and theatrical performances that showcase the incredible work and impact of black artistry.
KDKA shared the news that the Western Pennsylvania School for Blind Children (WPSBC) partnered with Integrated Health 21, a Pittsburgh-based health management company, to provide school employees with the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.
As advised by the Allegheny County Health Department (ACHD) WPSBC is extending the school closure. The updated plan is for residential students to return on Monday, February 15th with classes to resume on campus on Tuesday, February 16, 2021.
