Transition Resources

The WPSBC Transition Committee supports and guides transition planning for WPSBC students through collaboration among various stakeholders, including students, families, educators, therapists and community service providers.  This collaborative approach facilitates a transition plan that is tailored to the individual needs and aspirations of each student, providing a comprehensive support system as they move into adulthood.  This planning is essential for assisting students with disabilities, and their families in navigating the transition from school to adult services.  A successful transition plan ensures students are equipped with the necessary skills and resources, to maintain a good quality of life to support their needs and achieve their individual goals.

Our team recognizes that each student’s transition is unique, and we will work with families to ensure positive results for post-secondary transition.
