Family Involvement

Because family involvement is so beneficial to the educational process, parents, guardians and family members are encouraged to be partners in their child's education. From the child's first day of school until graduation, parents have many opportunities to exchange ideas with teachers and administrators.

Family involvement takes many forms, including active communication with teachers through daily or weekly notes, phone calls and visits.

Guest quarters are available at no charge for parents who need to stay overnight to be part of the planning process for their child.

We also offer several activities and organizations for the whole family, including:

  • The WPSBC Parent Teacher Group is a service group that supports the School and its students through fundraising activities. Parents are also invited to campus to hear pertinent speakers during an informative luncheon.
  • Annual special events like Family Day and Open House, invite the whole family to learn more about the School and take part in fun activities.
  • SibShops is offered quarterly for the siblings of our students, and Grandparent Express is a special event for grandparents offered twice a year. Both of these events offer relatives a chance to socialize and learn from each other.
